I got a call from the radiologist this afternoon, and she confirmed they found invasive lobular cancer cells in all three biopsy sites (anterior and posterior of the 7cm area, as well as one lymph node). She recommended an MRI for further imaging and a referral to a breast surgeon.
I had already decided to go to the Sullivan Breast Center at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC, so I called them immediately and booked an appointment for Feb 5th. They called me back the next day and due to a cancellation, we made an appointment to see her on Monday, January 29, 2024.
