Telling the Boys
Jonathan and I sat down with the boys on Sunday night for a "family meeting, " as they call it.
I bought books from Amazon called Cancer Party and What Happens When Someone I Love Has Cancer, both by the same author. I also found a few YouTube videos geared toward kids to help explain the treatments I'll be going through and what they can expect.
They had a few questions, but I am sure more will come once the treatments start and it becomes more real.
We’re committed to being open and honest with them about every step of this process so they feel included and know what to expect as their world changes.
